Where can I find a listing of available apartment and duplex homes for rent?
Q. San Jose Mercury newspaper used to list dozens of apartments and homes for rent in the classified ads sections. Since rentals are so competitve it's hard to find decent but cheap rentals in Santa Clara County. Where are individual and private owners listing their properties for rent, other than on apartments.com?

If only stupid people join the military, why have colleges lower SAT acceptance scores?
Q. The San Jose Mercury News (for you libs & teachers - is located in California, USA.) main head lines reported today that since 2004 the colleges have had to lower the requirements for SAT acceptance to fill their quota for class enrollment. That points to the fact that the sheople who stay at home are less educated than before and need someplace to hind and spend the parents $. It also says that the smartest and independant minded (read that - they did not believe their lefty teachers) joined the military because they still believe that this country is basically good and that everyone has rights and those rights need to be protected - even lefty rights.

A. Good question. The people who join the military are smarter and more respectable than most of the people in our country, and they deserve alot more respect than they are receiving from our left-wing pals. The truth is, the people who join the military are smarter than alot of people, and anyone who says that the people in the military are stupid, are MORONS. Military technology and operations are on the cutting edge of the technology of our society, and it is developed and operated, for the most part, by people who are in the military. For those ignorant people out there, the military is more than just run and gun, GIJoe's, as our ever progressing world is becoming more and more reliant on technology. Hats off to the intelligent troops!

Q. How does Google News determine what news source gets to be labeled under an article? Today there was an article on the Minn. bridge collapse and Google put the San Jose Mercury News under it. But then there's a couple more news article by different sources and then there are a couple more different sources listed. How does all this work? Let me know if there's a better section to put this question in.
